3 New JoyeTech Models Hit The Market for 2013 – Joye eRoll, Joye eCab & Joye eVic Posted by: Jim on February 12, 2013 Under: E Cigarettes | 3 New JoyeTech Models Hit The Market for 2013 – Joye eRoll, Joye eCab & Joye eVicReviewed by Jim – WhiteSmoke on Feb 12Rating: 5.03 New JoyeTech Models Hit Market- Joye eRoll, Joye eCab & Joye eVicThe latest from China E-Cigarette manufacturer and celebrated Brand Name itself, JoyeTech are here – introducing the Joye eRoll, the Joye eCab & Joye eVic The latest from China E-Cigarette manufacturer and celebrated Brand Name itself, JoyeTech are here – introducing the Joye eRoll, the Joye eCab and the Joye eVic The company have been busy of late, and after exclusive rights for the maker’s distribution in the UK – which was held by Totally Wicked and TECC for quite a few years, came to an end recently JoyeTech has announced plans to expand the suppliers reach while attempting to reduce the many cheap clones that are so rampant – and make blatant use of the original’s name even, as we have seen so much of with the Joye EGO in the last 2 years or so. The main new releases up until the new year in the later half of 2013 focused on the wildly successful Joye EGO and it’s ever expanding range of variations. The EGO when first released (initially by Totally Wicked as the Tornado) then under Joye’s own name more broadly it took off quite rapidly as it filled a gap in the market – offering a medium size ecigarette that was way simpler to use then the earliest MODs that were released back then (3 years ago). The Joye EGO first expanded when it released it’s own atomizers (having used exclusively Joye 510 atomizers from the brand’s other mega hit, the Joye 510 they had launched the year prior) which came in 2 variations – a tapered and a fat cylindrical versions. Both were massive and though there were good products, the LR versions of each followed the regular ones and were able to do the giant 3ml plus cartridges – what seemed an insanely huge amount of eliquid – more justice. Being prior to today’s common huge tanks and other ecig add-ons that allow for such large volume of eliquid the thought of filling a 3-piece ecig cart with so much eliquid i remember being impressive. They were released around the same time the first longer battery additions were launched (boasting 900mah and then a 1000maH version) while continuing to sell the original 650mAH and soon followed 650maH versions of the Joye EGO battery sporting a USB port on the bottom, allowing for non-stop use while charging just like USB passthrough devices did, but in this case your ego battery charged at the same time! Still a nice feature to have. Compared with other USB passthroughs, like the “V2 Powercig” from V2 Cigs , which offers non-stop vaping at 5v, for V2 and other KR808D-1 Cartomizers, these types don’t actually have a battery cell in them, hence the ‘passthrough’ part of the term. The ego tank was the next coupon codes for v2 cigs big deal to come out of JoyeTech. The ego tank was the next big deal to come out of JoyeTech. It was one of the biggest innovations to last come from JoyeTech the really changed the way so many people vape – and helped point the way to so many CE3, StarDust and every other type of popular tankomizer – including the V2 Liquimax, all owe a bit of a debt to Joye’s EGO-T tank system that eliminated ‘Polyfill’ from many’s vapers lives for good. The smaller 510-T (which i actually prefer and still use sometimes) followed on the heels of it’s bigger brother. Since then the Joye EGO has gone through a number of other rounds of innovation and upgrades – there was much fuss surrounding the release of the EGO-C, though all that introduced was the replaceable tank atomizer “pods” know as the ‘Joye Changable System’. I remember thinking that the brand making such fuss over the Joye EGO-C seemed a bit much, but now i realize it must be part of a bigger long term product plan the brand likely had planned out back at that time. 2 of the major now releases out of the 3 new product lines released by JoyeTech all in a rapidfire series in 2013 both make use of the same ‘Joye Changeable System’. The 3 new Electronic Cigarette releases from Joye include: the tiny Joye eRoll (with what might be the tiniest ecig battery ever), the Joye eCAB (it looks like a mini EGO and in many ways that is just what it is, though designer around the same “joye changeable system’ as the EGO-C and eRoll) and finally at the big end of the spectrum, JoyeTech first real foray into what would be considered MOD type units with their fancy computerized Variable Voltage (just up to 5v) Joye eVIC. The Joye eRoll is something of a return of the ‘super-mini’ but now as a tank, or rather ‘Changeable’ system – it is rather slick and minimal and performs rather impressively given the battery is only 90maH. This thing is tiny but does put out as decent vapor i would say as any non manual 510-T battery can. The small size is paired with a suitably tiny and equally slick PCC – the Joye eRoll Portable Charging Case. Everything in the device is held together just through pressing or magnets – a trend in several new ecigs i have noted, with innoken’s small varaible voltage unit also working through detachable atomizer heads held in place with magnets alone. While i don’t see the eRoll catching on to the extent of the EGO it is a nice model for sure internet for anyone looking for the cutting edge in a super-mini ecigarette. I have a feeling many who would be in the market for that aren’t as into refilled eliquid tanks though as they are likely looking more for ultra convenience. I’d be happy to be shown to be wrong through. The Joye eCAB on the other hand might take off a little more. Though i have yet to try in (my order is placed at Canvape for one) and i will report back once i have. For the last while i have thought there is room for something just like it – between your average mini with its 150-250 maH and the original EGO, at 650maH. The Joye eCAB is one such device that Joyetech’s Own Site describes it in similar terms. The Joye eCab is a slim alternative version of the existing Joyetech eGo-C changeable system. Combining a new battery housing, with the ability to replace the rechargeable battery, and the stunning eGo-C atomizer to create an ergonomic and lightweight electronic cigarette that performs like its big brother, the eGo-C, the world’s best selling e-cig.The eCab battery enables over 150 standard puffs from a full charge. Charging takes approximately 2 hours. The unique changeable tank system uses refillable tanks that are compatible with all Joyetech eGo products. Special features of eGo-C atomizer:?? The eCab atomizer body can be easily removed, making atomizer replacement quick and simple. This unique feature offers excellent economy in use, plus it dramatically reduces wastage of valuable metals, whilst maintaining outstanding performance. Lastly the Joye eVic is a pretty fancy MOD in an of itself. Like the quiet release of Joye ego battery enclosures which are designed for 18650 replaceable batteries that support all the way up to 3500maH the eVic uses that same tried and tested battery format which is in my experience the best choice for such devices, and certainly recommended as a single battery rather than stacking 2 smaller ones (something i dont ever do any more) as it is a safety concern. Joye interestingly is bundling all of these removable battery units so far with unprotected batteries, I would recommend as most do using protect IMR rechargeables as having one of these explode would make for a very bad day. I’m going to do a proper post dedicated to the eVIC as well once i have a bit more time using it under my belt and can report more as to what i actually think about Joye’s first such device. It is certainly manufactured nicely though, and features some silly software app to track your puffs over your lifetime or something like this – being windows only and slightly too silly for me I don’t expect i’ll be using it however. As the EGO/510 threading has become such a standard in devices on this side of the vaping market I am curious to see whether others will support the Joye Changeable System or whether it is something Joye indeed sticks with long-term.
